At East Elk, we believe in the power of storytelling through stunning visuals and compelling narratives. Founded by Andrew and Julia Law, our story began when we met while working on a film set. What started as simple coworkers quickly evolved into a shared passion for filmmaking, the outdoors, and adventure.

Based in Boone, NC, we specialize in cinematic commercials, documentaries, wildlife cinematography, and outdoor adventure productions. With a background in survival shows and filming in some of the most remote and demanding locations, we thrive on taking video production to the next level—capturing the untamed beauty of nature in its wildest and most breathtaking moments.

When we’re not working on client projects, you’ll find us out in nature or working on a project of our own that we’re passionate about. We’re deeply connected to the wilderness, and this love for the outdoors inspires our work. We immerse ourselves fully in the environments we capture, allowing us to bring authentic, powerful stories to life.

Telling people’s stories is our passion, and we approach each project with dedication and care. Outside of our video work, we also love film photography, capturing moments that reflect our love for storytelling and the natural world. In addition, we enjoy creating YouTube videos, where we share our adventures and creative projects, bringing our passion for filmmaking and the outdoors to a broader audience.
